Love this show. What a great job of leaving you wanting to more. I'm actually kind of bummed I'm having to watch this as the series unfolds on AMC and not binge watching on Netflix.

I'm also liking how they are bringing Mike into the show. At first I thought they were throwing him a bone and was being used as a cameo...but it appears there is a going to be a back story on his character as well....he is playing the role of Mike..right?

Mike is too good of a character not to have in this show. Yes, he explains being an old Philly cop which was Mike's background. I wonder if Saul (Jimmy) turns him to the dark side or if he is already working part time for Gus?

As a fan of Community, we all knew "Professor Buzz Hickey" would be a regular on Better Call Saul and not available for season 6. Good for Saul, bad for Greendale.

I have to say I loved that episode, too. I like the weird relationship he has with that female lawyer from the big firm. I love how you can see he still has some integrity, and I think we may see him take a path to a darker place a la Walter White.

And how obvious was it that the family had "kidnapped themselves?". I was screaming it at the TV.

Great episode, love the show. Mike was always one of my favorites from BB, very happy to see him back.

Better Call Saul has now become my "must watch" show of the week, over The Walking Dead (which is stagnating IMO). Every time the show ends, I am already looking forward to next week's episode.

+1 on all of this.

x1000 on the boldened part.

All caught up on Saul via DVR...GREAT SHOW and getting better each week. Can't wait to see what happens next. Love having Mike on the show.

I watched Better Call Saul before I watched Walking Dead on my DVR this week.

I would have thought that was impossible as recently as two weeks ago.

Great show. Bob Odenkirk is the man!

I agree, Bob is great. I've liked him for a long time now. I was a HUGE fan of Mr. Show with Bob and Dave back in my pot smoking days. My roommates and I had several seasons on DVD. They did some really funny stuff.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this. She's got an odd look to her, but wood.

-SPOILER-

Just to be clear, he DID put that guy up to the fall, right?
That's what I thought when watching, based on the way they shook hands after he pulled him back up.

Their handshake after the "rescue" was the same as the one between Jimmy and the fat guy after the watch con.

And am I the only one who didn't get theat Saul Goodman = S'all good, man? Insert Keano meme here...

Yes, I believe the guy even said something to the effect of "what took you so long?" just before pulling him back up.

Wife and I were shocked at the beginning when the other guy asked him his name. S'all. S'all Good man. Never picked up on that. Wondering when the name change will take place.

We had the same reaction. Just looked at each other and laughed.

The fact that he would hide the paper from his brother who knows all of his tricks tells you that it was definately a con.

What is the deal with the brother and the space cape etc?
first ep I thought he had agoraphobia, but now after hearing a few more conversations seems like he's afraid of electricity or "electro magnetic waves." He always makes Jimmy ground himself before entering the house and leave all electronics, even metals outside.

I presume he has cancer and has some cockamamie idea that the absence of electricity will somehow cure him. No?

Just catching up on my DVR and this week's episode was another great one.

SPOILER...

Loved the loony guy with his own currency!

Tony the Toilet Buddy had me rolling!

"Fill me up, Chandler. Put it in me!"
"Gosh your big, you're so big. My goodness, look at you!"

Pretty powerful episode last night. Mike is a total badass and hope he locks up an emmy nomination for that scene at the end.

Yeah, that was amazing. What an episode. Highly satisfied with Mike being a co-star in this series. I wasn't expecting it, but it adds a lot of gravitas to the story.

Jonathan Banks (Mike) just does a great job. Looking at his wiki page he did win an Emmy for his work in season 5 of BB and like you said may have a good shot here too. I did not realize all the movies & TV shows he has been in.

Looking forward to getting caught up on this past Monday's episode revolving around Mike.

Also loved Mike's episode, but IMO this show has been nails since the beginning. Its started off much more compellingly than Breaking Bad did. Took BB forever to get moving.

Would you view Mike differently now that when you first watched Breaking Bad?

I view him the same, always liked Mike. Glad to see his character getting more time in the spot light.

Another Excellent episode.

BTW Mrs. Kettleman has some nice knockers.

Great episode.

What;s sad is that you know his situation is never going to get that much better being that he is currently working at a Cinnabon.

Well you know how he ended up at Cinnabon already...but it's really interesting what they've been able to do considering we all know where he's eventually going to end up as "Saul". It's crazy and compelling and adds another layer of sadness every time something doesn't work out for him.

Definitely loving the show.
