So, the wife is a huge fan, and I half watch while playing on my phone. The thing I like about the show is it's on 3 nights a week during the worst tv time of the year.

Observations:

Like all other reality shows the continued introduction of twists has me believe production manipulates way more of these shows than they will ever admit.

Paul owns the house. Curious when they will turn on him.

Josh is schizo.

Cody is creepy as heck and I hate when players get to return, but he'll be toast soon anyway along with Jessica.

Jessica is an idiot, why would she share that she had the hex? That was a pure emotional reaction to Ramses going out. Totally lost any element of surprise/usefulness of her power by sharing. She is a smoke show, but plain dumb.

Kevin is funny and I like how he does things on the DL just to mix things up.

I see Alex going far as long as no one figures out she is tight with Paul.

Josh needs to go. He is the most annoying person that I can remember ever being on the show. Also, how dumb is the house not to see that Paul is pulling all the strings...ALL THE STRINGS. If someone doesn't take him out the rest of the house might as well quit and gift him the 500K.

Paul's social game is amazing. Outside of Jessica and Cody, he's friends with everyone and they don't feel threatened by him.

Like every season, someone comes in all balls-to-the-wall-gung ho (Cody) and plays too hard too soon. Plus, he is absolutely psychotic and has zero social game. I want him and Jessica out ASAP.

I'm pulling for either Paul or Alex to win.

A 25 year old in my office was contracted through Instagram to be on the show. He had a phone interview, Skype interview and was flown out to LA for three days. He is a dullard so I'm not sure how he got the invite to LA but he said it was horrible.

They had to eat at specific times, work out with permission and had a baby sitter when he was by the pool. He said the process was overly secretive and weird.

He had no chance but it would have been cool to watch if he made it.

This season is horrible. Cody kinda got screwed the first HOH by having to nominate what, 4 people? When has that ever happened? This cast is vile. Paul has been acting like a child ever since Jessica announced she had the Hex, which was stupid. All they do is verbally attack each other 24/7. They have literally been following Cody and Jessica around all day every day, yelling at them trying to make them get violent and self-evict.

Josh is the worst cast member in BB history. If I was Mark, I would have throat punched him and walked out. He isn't winning anyway.

Paul and his minions still don't fully understand the Hex, so tonight should be kinda interesting. Overall, I hate this season. These people are more worried about just getting to Jury than winning the game.

I will say this, I like Kevin.

Kinda funny how most people want to see Paul win.

I don't get it and hate this format. Either put all vets back in or no vets in the house.

In regards to Paul, production has handed him everything he has gotten in the house so far. First temptation to keep him safe, played HOH game about tattoos, all though the last POV game is a moot point, it was the same POV that he won last year. Heck, his first HOH game when he got rid of Cody, that was the same game that he hosted on Big Brother Over The Top a couple months before.

Then seeing Paul and the gang basically bully Jess and Cody for playing the game and trying to get them self evict was even more disgusting.

I would like to see Jessica win but that's not happening. This is probably the worst cast BB has done. Everybody is playing for jury except Paul. Its crazy, don't ever remember a cast just playing for jury.

I completely disagree, but it's interesting to see how people see the show differently.

This game is primarily a social game first and then comps. Paul plays a brilliant social game and also happens to be pretty good at comps. Jessica and Cody have especially bad social games. No one likes them. I agree Paul got an advantage with the initial safety, but there have been other opportunities to get him out.

Cody committed BB rookie mistake #1....don't play too hard too early. Even if Paul didn't have the safety, I doubt he'd have gone home...he's too good of a social player and everyone wanted to hang out with him. At that point the only person threatened by Paul was Cody...that's why he wanted to keep his plan a secret because he knew no one would be on board with him. Face it, Cody was mad he didn't get that silly friendship bracelet and it escalated from there. Funny how the admittedly silly stunt with the pots and pans is viewed as bullying now, but it was such a "smart move" when Evil Dick did it years ago.

This season has been a bit of a disappointment in that it seems so few people are actually playing to win. Matt, Raven, Mark, and Elena have basically done nothing. I'd like to see Matt step it up. Mark and Elena basically float to whoever has power at the moment and play both sides, but don't contribute anything. Christmas had enormous potential early on, but that seems to have fallen apart with her injury.

I want to see Paul and Alex as final two, but won't be at all surprised if Jessica's hex mucks up everything for a few more weeks. We shall see. Unfortunately it seems Production is playing an especially heavy hand this year rather than just letting it play out.

I can understand where you are coming from on most points but the above wasn't what I was referring to. I was mainly talking about how Paul was telling his minions to question Cody's military service, saying things as that will really get under his skin, etc. I mean, it got to the point that production had to call Paul into the diary room and tell him to cool it down saying you cant provoke Jess or Cody into a physical altercation, cant threaten them, etc. That was the bullying I was referring to.

Jessica wasted her last HOH by nominating Josh and Ramses. Should have put someone from the Matt/Raven/Jason/Alex group. Would have ensured someone from that side went home. Josh is a waste, no matter how annoying I find him.

I agree with you. It was unnecessary and not a smart move.

One thing I dislike about this show: the showmances. These kids come in and immediately all the "attractive" people hook up with each other and then ostracize and alienate everyone else. Early on Cody said their little gang of couples would "run" the house and get rid of the outsiders one by one. I, for one, am glad it hasn't played out that way.

Cody himself is an insufferable bully and I'm glad most of the house saw that pretty quickly. IMO, he's the most unlikable person they've had on the show in many seasons. He's maybe even worse than Mike "Boogie" - the 40-something year old juvenile delinquent gator who thought so highly of himself.

I've watched BB for many years, but the people in the house have changed over the years. Initially, they'd come in ready to play and get busy. Now these kids come in and just lay around trying to get their 30 mins. of fame. Elena even talked on the After Dark feeds about her goal on the show was to further her image/brand...more Instagram followers? Really?? No wonder Production has gotten involved and stirred the pot...as much as I dislike it.

Paul and his followers have been insufferable bullies for the last two weeks. This whole cast sucks. Elena was a part of the radio morning show I listen to on the way to work. I'm not surprised by her.

These idiots will actually have to compete in the HOH tonight instead of handing another one to Paul and not doing anything, although Paul will run their HOH.:mad:

With Julie sharing that Jessica could have used the Hex the next 4 weeks, pretty much vindicated Paul for flushing it out.

Jessica should have kept her mouth shut, let the house send Cody packing this week and she would still have it and maybe everyone wouldn't still hate her.

So Cody and Jessica are now toast. Unless one wins veto and other wins temptation battle. But shouldn't every single person participate in the battle?

Josh as HOH, yikes.

She should have included Paul using the veto on her for not using the hex. Not sure why she wouldn't have that in the deal. Without it there is no way she was not going to use the hex.

The house would still hate Jessica. If Jessica didn't use it last night, the house would have voted her out along with the Hex. Then obviously went after Cody this coming week.

There's no way Paul or the house would have stuck to the deal they were discussing.

Josh winning HOH is going to make for a miserable week.
