Today Bill had on Dave Waters, who cover the gators, and they talked about Zaire coming to UF. Bill thinks that it would show how bad the gators are at QB if they have to go that route, and he feels Zaire would be a bad fit for what Mcelwain does. That it would serverly hurt any type of passing game they are trying to get going, and would stunt the growth of Calloway and Cleveland. Needless to say, he thinks it would be bad for UF.
Now he also said that Zaire could be the best they can do, and that is a true referendum on Mcelwain's abilty to develop a QB. The gator guy agreed that it is probably not a good marriage because Zaire is not a good passer, and it would show that Franks is not ready. Now of course UF would have to get around the transfer issue before he can even get there.
