Anyone else tried one? Nuisance or next step in mobility/transportation question? I have been riding them into the office this week, reliability just is not quite there yet for me. But I can see how in the future these and others like it can solve the last mile connectivity issue.

I rode them while out in LA last week. They're a lot of fun. I see what you mean about reliability - by the end of the day on Memorial Day, all of the scooters were drained and I had to walk several miles back to my hotel.

Still some safety/nuisance issues associated with inexperienced users. They launched here in Nashville a few weeks ago and have since temporarily pulled back after being threatened by Metro with a lawsuit.

I saw Lime Bike and Scooter for the first time when I was in San Diego last month. I just recently read they will be coming to Denver soon. We've had the "docked" rental bikes for a while but the dockless ones are new to me.

We went on a 2.5 hour tour on these in Prague, back in March. They're called Scroosers. Pretty new concept. You can stand or sit. They were a blast to ride and very stable due to the fat tires. I believe our guide said they top out around 25 km/h, but I never got much past 20 km/h.
