Breakfast in Tally......

Another vote for Canopy Road and Maple Street Biscuit Company (A campus location and Killearn location)- those two places are fantastic!

Hey, did Canopy Road on N. Monroe close? I looked it up on the map and I thought it used to be on N. Monroe, near the intersection with Bradford?

You can get a cocktail at the egg. They have a new location downtown at the plaza condo as well.

Lunchbox beats Canopy Road every damn time. (Canopy Road is fine in a pinch, but not worthy of the rave reviews IMO. Everything kinda bland and mushy or just overall boring.)
Although you have to avoid Lunchbox when it's crowded or else be super patient and prepared for your breakfast not to be quite what you ordered.
Definitely want to try Coosh's for breakfast. Their muffins rock.

oops forgot, I like Egg Cafe too. At Mahan and Cap Circle.

Gotta try Bagel Bagel since it gets such good buzz.
Wish Tally was big enough to support a real Jewish deli with great bagels & lox, noodle kugel, chopped liver and all the good stuff, like Bagelicious up in Marietta.

@nolesfanfromsouthfl.

So?
Where did you end up going? Your review?

Yours is the only genuinely useful thread so far today on TC.

I'm super hungry right now and jealous. Have a safe trip home.
Go Noles!

Woodchucks on West Tharpe St. Looks like a dive but the food will not disappoint.

Yep, been wishing for a Jewish deli to open up here for a long time! I think a good one would do well up in the NE part of Tally. When I lived in Richmond VA there was a great one on Carey ST (think it's still there). I'd go about once or twice a month to get my 'fix' of REAL deli food. :~)
