gonna set my soul on fire....

Headed to Vegas this afternoon; realized I had too much cash in my bank account & needed to figure out a way to lower the balance.

For those familiar, where'd be a good place to watch tomorrow's WC semi, along with the consolation & championship games this weekend? Staying on the strip, at Mirage.

Since you’re staying at the Mirage, Have you ever seen the Beatles’ ‘Love’ show before? If not, definitely consider seeing it. I thought it was great...especially if you like the Beatles.

As for which Sportsbook to watch the matches at, I don’t know. Seemed to me that when I went through all the hotels, Caesar’s had the biggest one. But I don’t know if bigger is better.

Wynn, Caesars, Venetian/Palazzo, MGM, Mirage are all good, but look into the Westgate. Havent been to that one, but everything Ive read says that this is easily the best one. You really cant go wrong with any of the upper tier casinos.

Figuring I'll end up in one of the sports books; other thought I had is that, if England ends up in the finals, hunting down a British pub that might have a more intense crowd

There's that fake Irish pub at the NYNY - can't recall if it was set up like a sports bar.

You can also find an Irish pub in the Mandalay. Good atmosphere and an adequate amount of big screens

The sports book at the Mirage is solid. They recently upgraded all the seating and have a bar very close. Gotta bet $125 to get a free drink though. Nine Fine Irishmen is the bar Fiji is talking about in NYNY. I'll try to find out if the bar within MGM's sportsbook will be open for the games. If so it's one of the better setups on the strip for watching and drinking.

Swing by Reef Dispensary on the way to Ceasars sportsbook, it will make the viewing a whole lot more interesting. (not sure if they have instant pot)
