Ok, out of high school who was better? Who is faster, and who is more athletic? Who is smarter? DC seemed to have extraordinary vision and patience to find and hit the hole. DC was so good I'm hoping that Akers can compare based on his HS billing. DC had the vision to dictate his gains, much like Emmitt Smith who did not have that same speed or burst or athleticism but was an All Pro. Watching last year's Clemson game again showed me how disciplined and patient DC was with his eyes. To continually hit the edge with inches to spare because he could freeze defenders for a nano second was a thing of beauty. DC had patience in letting the play develope and this made him deadly. I hope Akers has the same football instincts and IQ to allow his athleticism to shine brighter.
