Have an HP Laptop with Windows 8.1...Internet worked great at my house...at my folks house now connected to their wireless..I'm connected with a strong signal, but it won't load certain websites like Yahoo and Google but I can use Warchant fine and other websites as well...their computer gets everything fine...totally bizarre..anyone ever have something like that happen to them?...any suggested fixes?...thanks

couple of silly thoughts. can your folks access these sites wirelessly with no problems? when you selected the ssid and established the wireless connection did you configure it as a home network? lastly, perhaps the firewall on the wireless access point/router is blocking these sites. perhaps a call to their isp's tech support is the quickest resolution.

Could be a DNS issue. Try flushing DNS and make sure you use a quality DNS (like google 8.8.8.8). You can hard code that into your IP setup so you don't ever get stuck using an ISP's DNS

Yes, lots of people block "Google" and "yahoo".
