So I am at an international school in Shanghai taking a Chinese course. I use my FSU backpack and was wearing my FSU windbreaker today and this random guy from some African country (I don't remember which he said) comes up to me and he says, "Florida State University?" and I reply, "yes, do you know it?" He replies with "E.J. Manuel, Jameis Winston!" At this point I'm super excited and asked him how he knows FSU and he replies with "I love the NCAA. FSU is my favorite team".
Just thought it was awesome that, while in Shanghai I run into a guy from some African country that happens to love FSU. Goes to show how big FSU is internationally.
