Cops doing their job

One thing I have never understood about football fights is why so many idiot players don't have their helmet on.

One of my favorite football brawls was FSU v LSU in 1990. We had just kicked the crap out of them when an LSU player decides to flying kick an FSU player out of bounds. All hell broke loose.

I was just thinking the same thing; That was Bobby's 200th victory and that brawl messed up the acknowledgement of it. My buddy ran the width of the field to join in that fight, and entered the fray by jumping in with some dramatic flying karate kick. So we changed his name to Bruce Leroy for a few months :)

This is something I never knew, decent little brawl as well.

Now these are cops that know what they're doing! Barefoot weirdo with a Leatherman tool? Shoot it dead!

"I used to play football, but I wasn't big enough for college..."

suicide by cop

1. Almost all suicide by cop victims were white males (over 90%).
2. They most often carry weapons such as guns, but only 1 in 2 if the weapons are loaded at the time of the incident.
3. Around 17% actually used fake weapons.
4. Nearly the same amount attempted suicide by cop due to something involving their children.
5. Quite a few of these individuals had a history of substance abuse, domestic violence, or had attempted suicide before.
6. When females did attempt this sort of suicide, around half were white. Over 40% of these individuals were also single, but half had children.

You may very well be right, but the cops don't have to be willing participants.

Surprised the campus police do no have taser guns. A big athletic college kid was running around on the field during the USA friendly match up here and the police brought him down like a ton of bricks while he was running with one shot from a taser.

I still don't blame the cops that were called to the scene to control this situation.

I was working the sideline for TBS during that game. I was the dude that holds the microphone/parabola on the sidelines. I was right in the middle of it when it started. I hope the microphone was not picking up Kirk Curruthers was saying.....:Face with Tears of Joy

Ha...best seat in the house!!!

We just hammered them that day. We left about middle of 4th quarter to beat the crowd to Bennigans to watch other games. I saw the fight on tv and remember thinking "If I would have known there would be a good fight I would've stayed"

What you couldn't see on TV was Lawrence Dawsey and Hayward Haynes hanging out on our sidelines, 50+ yards away from the "festivities" laughing about how badly the brawlers were going to get "worked" as punishment. Most of the participants were freshmen and sophomores (at least our participants)
