Not sure if y'all heard their podcast yesterday, but they had a discussion on FSU turning around it's fortunes in football.
Here is how I feel on the topic ...
We have already turned the program around. It happened with the end of last season.
Norvell came into an awful situation. He took over a house that had fallen into serious disrepair and he commenced with the tear down in 2020 ... from his arrival through the close of last season. He came in and just gutted the house (roster) and the rebuild started with the bringing in of new players from December through February.
Think about all of the rot that cut out last winter and last spring and summer. Think about how more guys were removed from the roster during the season. The culture of Me-Me-Me and laziness was kicked to the curb. Year Zero for Norvell was very successful.
He bottomed us out and we've turned around and are now going in the right direction.
Now, if you want to talk about when we will get back to having the type of teams that will win 10-games minimum each year and be in the discussion of winning the league, and thus getting into Playoff consideration, well we're not there yet. We just got turned around. We just went through the tear down stage. The rebuild just started this winter and spring. Talking about when we'll be "back" ... well ... I'm not sure just yet. But I do feel that we are headed in the right direction.
