COVID - is back - the facts

Covid has really taken off in Florida and a few other states - no denying it .. it is fact that back in the peak florida was running 800 - 1200 cases a day .. the US was testing 100 - 150,000 folks a day. The key was at the peak Florida had 40-50 deaths a day ... then the numbers drop and dropped and were more than cut in half ..

Now florida hit 3000 Thurs and 4000 friday and we tested 578,000 folks .. 4-5 times as many test .... but the deaths are still 35-45 .. some of the increase is due to the increase testing? probably. Also

there are still low numbers for the USA - the number have been really really low. we had 3000 dead a day in the peak .. yesterday we had 700 covid deaths and the day before it was like 300 ...

Florida is very concerning but look at the deaths not the new cases and see if the # of deaths go up the next 2 weeks .. Also look where it is. 80-85% of the covid is in Miami ft lauderdale tampa and orlando .. 85% of the covid is in 5% of the land mass .. There was one death north of orlando yesterday .. one .. so it is not really florida yet .. it is in 4 cities .. orlando and south ..

I had COVID 2 times. The first time I had a fever for 1 night shivers cold sweats and weakness. For the next 3 weeks I was coughing non stop. Then the coughing dialed back but I was sick for another 3 weeks.

My wife got sick 3 days ago and then I got sick again . I had only a cough for 2 days. No fever and no other symptoms. I will tell u guys this. This virus if your healthy otherwise is getting weaker.
For on 6+ weeks the first time to 2 days the 2nd time.

Yes 2 times. We both had it 2 times.

I don’t think the virus is weaker. You just had antibodies the second time. Glad you and your wife are ok.

The head of infectious disease at UF Shands said that the virus is not making people as ill and that far fewer who are ill require treatment in ICU. Of course, the average age has dropped significantly so that may play into it.

There were 100’s of thousands of people across the country demonstrating, so this might have something to do with the increase in cases. Maybe or Maybe not...

Any idea of where you may be contracting this?

Lol. No freaking idea. Could be a number of places or people
