You should sell those I would buy one.
If you look at his posting history, it's pretty clear that he does sell them, and that's why he posted here.

I thought that I've seen before that decorating these cups with stickers and paint actually decreases their insulation?

How much are they? What kind of guarantee?

How much are they? What kind of guarantee?

Let's think about this for a sec, Ted. Why would somebody put a guarantee on a box? Hmmm, very interesting.

Ted Nelson, Customer: Go on, I'm listening.

Tommy: Here's the way I see it, Ted. Guy puts a fancy guarantee on a box 'cause he wants you to feel all warm and toasty inside.

Ted Nelson, Customer: Yeah, makes a man feel good.

Tommy: 'Course it does. Why shouldn't it? Ya figure you put that little box under your pillow at night, the Guarantee Fairy might come by and leave a quarter, am I right, Ted?

[chuckles until he sees that Ted is not laughing]

Ted Nelson, Customer: [impatiently] What's your point?

Tommy: The point is, how do you know the fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy; well, we're not buying it. He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes. The next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser, and your daughter's knocked up. I seen it a hundred times.

Ted Nelson, Customer: But why do they put a guarantee on the box?

Tommy: Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of crap. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me.

Lol. I was gonna tell him I'd write him a check after the guarantee period...

I have an RTIC tumbler that I bought for 1/2 the price of the Yeti, seems like a good deal for $20. It keeps coffee hot and adult beverages ice cold for hrs at the beach or pool. So Rtic is the way to go price wise, as it performs the same as a Yeti. I'd never buy either one of their coolers though unless I was offshore fishing or hunting on multiple day trips. My coleman xtreme and Igloo max cold coolers keep my beers and food cold enough for what I need them for (car camping, beach drinking, etc)

Also, I made my own custom Yeti coozie that was given as a gift and turned it into a white trash guilty treasure. I took the rubber cover of an old coffe mug and slid it on to the "colster" and bam, got my own FSU Yeti coozie, damn right. Problem is, there is no reason I need to keep a beer ice cold for 3+ hrs, means I'm drinking too slow.

They look good but I don't get these cups. I use Tervis, which are made in Florida instead of China, and they keep my drink cold for the whole time I am drinking it. I have yet to make a drink for 20+ hours from now or have any need to do so.

I have 3 tervis's and the rtic craps all over them. Tervis are good at what they do, the double insulated stainless steel tumblers are great at what they do. You can leave one on the nightstand and have ice cold water in the morning, leave it in the car in the fl sun all day and still have all the ice left 8 hrs later. Make a frozen or mix drink at the pool or beach and have it ice ice cold for 4hrs sitting in direct fl sun (i have the 30oz, so 10+ozs of that is pure liquor, usually Wild Turkey 101, 4 hrs sounds about right). I like to sip on a big mug of coffee for 2 hrs or so in the am, this keeps it hot the whole time, tervis can't do any of that.

I don't want to come off as a SS fanboy, I think Tervis' serve a purpose, but for a few dollars more you can get something much more durable and way way better.
