DareDevil season 3

I can't wait to watch. And I have read that no other 'heroes' will be in. Zero crossovers.

Not surprised Netflix canceled Iron Fist but very disappointed about Luke Cage.

Close friend made a comment that MAYBE Marvel/Disney will move those 2 series to the new marvel/Disney streaming service

Season 3 is, by far, my favorite marvel nexflix season. It is really really awesome The biggest reason ... Fisk (and the actor), the fight choreography (really awesome), and relatively streamlined storytelling (usually not the case w/ marvel shows).

Enjoy!

Iron Fist Season 2 was actually surprisingly really good. I'm convinced that they're either going to condense them and do a Heroe's For Hire or Disney is just trying to kill everything on Netflix so they can get all Marvel eyes on their side.

As for Daredevil, I've got about 3 episodes to go, and it might be the best of the Marvel series on Netflix so far. I'm not certain if it's better than Season 1, but I like it better than just about anything else they've done.

Hmm, I'm about three episodes in and it seems a little slow right now. Definitely like Fisk, but the setup of the season seems a little dragged out so far.

I did like the other seasons well enough. I'll stick with it based on these reviews.

It does take a while setting it all up. It's about episodes 4 - 6 where it all starts to pick up.

Cool. I like what they're setting up, but at the same time they're kind of overkilling it with repetitive bits that are making it take longer than it needs to. But I've always thought DD was 2-3 episodes too long per season and that there were points where they padded out some of the arcs to stretch it, so maybe that's just happening at the front end a bit.

IF2 was very entertaining. I would have liked to see what the next season would be like

DD3... Episode 4 is the prison fight. Enjoy.

My ratings:

I'm not done with season 3, we just finished episode 6 so I will leave it's rating out at the moment. But while I really like the actor and character of the Punisher and liked him in season 2 of Daredevil, I did not care for the standalone Punisher series. No interesting villain and every episode kind of felt monotonous even when he's in firefights. While the hand to hand combat in Daredevil has always been Blockbuster Hollywood Movie level A+, the firefights in Punisher didn't live up to even cable shows like Banshee, Justified or Strikeback.

So for me, temporarily setting aside Daredevil Season 3 which I would also rate as a 10 out of 10 so far with two great villains, I would rate the Netflix Shows as:

1) Daredevil S1 10/10
2) Jessica Jones S1 10/10
3) Daredevil S2 10/10
4) Luke Cage S1 8/10 (first 6 or 7 EPs a 10/10 backend is a 5/10)
5) Defenders S1 7/10 (Iron Fist isn't quite as terrible here when other heroes make fun of him)
6) Jessica Jones S2 7/10
7) Luke Cage S2 6/10
8) Punisher S1 4/10
9) Iron Fist S2 3/10
10) Iron Fist S1 1/10

I just finished DD S3 tonight. My ratings are as follows:

1. Daredevil S1
2. Daredevil S3
3. Iron Fist S2 (I know this will be ridiculed, but I really enjoyed S2 all the way through)
4. Jessica Jones S1 (David Tennant moves this way up)
5. Luke Cage S1 (Would have been ranked 3 if the second half hadn't fallen apart)
6. Luke Cage S2
7. Punisher
8. Daredevil S2
9. Jessica Jones S2
10. Defenders

101. Iron Fist S1
