Norvell said yesterday was a good day of meetings and cleaning up things from the first practices.
The team was able to practice on both fields -- 1s and 2s on one field and 3s and 4s on the other -- which they're only able to do because they have better depth. Said he liked that both fields were getting quality reps.
He "really liked the energy of the defense" today. Thought the offense got the best of them a few times Saturday, but the defense responded well.
Had high praise for some young guys like RB Rodney Hill and DB Azareye'h Thomas. Thomas forced 2-3 turnovers today.
"Excited" about what they're seeing from Dennis Briggs. Also had high praise for Joshua Farmer.
