The National Hurricane Center's 11 pm Sunday advisory reported that the tropical storm Debby has developed into a Category 1 hurricane with winds of 75 miles per hour.
Category 1 Hurricane Debby was 65 miles west-southwest of Cedar Key Florida at 11 pm and is moving toward Tallahassee at 12 with landfall expected about 8 am.
