Taking a look at the depth chart as we count down the days until the season begins and noticed a few things. And I understand the current chart is subject to change.
1) D-jack is listed as 2nd string. Didn't he start a game or two last year or was that because of injury?
2) Don't know if this has ever been a concern, but Akers is listed as 2nd string so that must mean he's not getting a redshirt. Again, don't know if that's ever been a concern though.
3) JJ is listed as 2nd sting right now. Don't want to bash him, but he looked completely overwhelmed every time he was put into the game.
4) Gavin listed as a starter when we go 3 wide. Hope he can put up some big numbers this year.
5). OL. Ugh.
6) Didn't know Aime's first name was "Walvenski"
7) Do you figure Taylor will be starting against Bama considering Marshall will be out for the first half?
8) Ermon is backing up Derwin. No surprise there I guess. This got me to thinking about him possibly helping out on offense from time to time. Ermon wears number 7 and so does Ryan Green, so there's a potential problem right there.
