I live in Jax...anyone else seeing this message on their local Direct TV station that covers regional NFL games? They stopped blacking games out two years ago so I'm not sure what this is about.

I'm watching it in Fort Pierce on Direct TV. I'm seeing on Twitter though that some Fox stations across the country are off the air.

Channels 47 and 30 local to Jacksonville refused to renew their contract with DirecTV, so no local channels for Fox or CBS.

In Jax and have both games available on Comcast, so not due to blackout. My guess is Direct Tv and Uverse contract agreement for the TV channels expired and weren't renewed after 12/31

Per action news jax:

WJAX TV, Jacksonville’s CBS affiliate, today announced that despite extensive efforts by the station’s owner, Bayshore Television, LLC, to avoid a service interruption, it appears likely that AT&T U-Verse and DIRECTV will stop carrying the station starting at Midnight Eastern Standard Time on New Year’s Eve.

As a result, WJAX will no longer be seen by AT&T U-Verse/DIRECTV subscribers as of this Saturday January 1, 2017.

One of the few games I'm not pulling for the panthers! GO JAMEIS AND GO BUCS!

Wow, thanks for the info. This was kept on the down low until now. Should be the talk of local sports talk radio tomorrow.
