Mandating face coverings. I get it, but the thought of walking around Disney in the summer with something covering my face is about as unappealing as anything I could imagine. I walk out of Publix into the parking lot for 15 seconds and feel like I’m suffocating by time I get to the car.

If DIsney makes people stand 6 feet apart in the ride lines...the lines might as well start at the parking lot...

LOL, I didn't think about that but yes having gone to Disney last year and experiencing a full park you are correct. I assume they will only sell enough tickets to a certain percentage occupancy, 25+% maybe. It may be a great time to actually go to the park except being required to wear a mask. There is no amount of fun to be had that would be worth having to wear a mask all day outside in Florida sun.

I think it said 50% capacity. No idea how they’ll do the lines. It could be that it’s like a fast pass only system where you have an appt to get into line at a certain time.

That's the system I figure they will have to use.

There is no way on this Earth I would be within 100 miles of Mouseville this summer. Although if heat is the mortal enemy of C19, Disney will be completely virus free.
Two hour lines...no way you get out of there for less than $250 per person. No thanks.

I wonder how much a daily ticket would have to cost for Disney to limit its guest #'s to 25% or 50% of what they they usually have?
$1000 a ticket/day? I wonder how many people would still gladly pay that?

Well, I'd expect to ride Pirates of the Caribbean twice, the teacups at least once, and get into the Frozen Palace with Elsa after only a 90 minute wait. Of course I'd treat myself to a $12 small frozen custard cone while I was waiting.
People are nuts.
Disclaimer: my son and DIL have an Annual Family Pass and go 5-6 times a year.

I freely admit while my 2 girls were young we did Disney full on...the parks, stayed at the various on site resorts, did the Disney cruise a few times, toys, hats, clothing etc...I can't imagine and don't really want to know how much we gave to the da*n mouse...yet I can't replace the memories I and the kids have so...

Bc I carry my groceries out like a man, not in a cart.

Outside people will be fine. The air conditioned inside queue-lines is where it will spread. Imagine an asymptomatic kid licking the handrails of Ariel's Grotto and you get a nice cool hot spot.

I'd be more interested in seeing how people with coughs are treated in the lines.

Don't need to go anymore. Disney will probably manage it is well as anyone. Some low info types could screw it up though.
