Jews, African Americans and gays. You hit the trifecta! Nothing better than winning the bigot lottery.Disney is a bunch of money grubbing NY sharks purporting to be “family friendly.” Would sell their own Mothers if they could make $1 from it. Add their radically woke agendas — i.e., children’s cartoons about reparations and children’s animations promoting LGBTQ, among other things — and I am sure Walt is rolling in his grave.
Impressive. Love Disney. It’s a special place.Disney Debuts Super Bowl LVII Commercial Celebrating 100 Years of Storytelling and Shared Memories - The Walt Disney Company

Oppressively hot because of lack of trees. Overpriced for the quality and quantity of rides, and way too crowded.Impressive. Love Disney. It’s a special place.
I used to love Disney World. My family and I would go there every year for a family vacation. I actually found this ad to be pretty good. The bad thing about the ad is that it didn't show any of the liberal/woke views that they have been pushing over the past few years. I totally agree with @FisherWilcoxTaggart Survivor . I don't believe Walt Disney would be pleased at all with what Disney World has become, or anything else that is associated with Disney for that matter. What did everyone think??

You are likely correct. But in hindsight that is not a bad thing. The world evolves. Ism’s arent as prevalent as in years past.I don't believe Walt Disney would be pleased at all with what Disney World has become,
Wow. To think you accused me of pushing my "ultra-extreme political views" on the other site. What? You didn't think I would hear how you were throwing me under the bus?Disney is a bunch of money grubbing NY sharks purporting to be “family friendly.” Would sell their own Mothers if they could make $1 from it. Great ad. As the father of a 7 year old I will be depositing a good amount of money in Orlando next February. The original questions were about the Disney AD.
I didn't ask if Walt would be pleased, nor about Disney's pricing at Disneyworld.
I was thinking that there were a lot of production costs in their three ads.
Just for the record, IMO, Disney has never attempted to control the minds of kids.
They have always provided good stories and fairy tales. We were all raised on Disney.
And, one of the best things about them? The language that is used in their movies, as in proper usage of the language, in whatever language, has always been perfect. No grammatical mistakes, very little slang, etc.
The one thing that they did that ticked of my husband and me, was to get the Mikey Mouse extension law passed.

Was your goal with this post to get me to warn or ban you so you could go over there and whine about how I was treating you unfairly? No need to wait on me. Just go ahead and leave.
Cowards are gonna coward. You won’t be hearing from Johnnie as he has been exposed (again) for what he is. Looking forward to his Rivals subscription running out.Wow. This board is free, so a subscription is not needed. He is a mod so he could drop the banhammer whether Johnnie has a subscription or not. And from the post above it sounds like he did banish him.Cowards are gonna coward. You won’t be hearing from Johnnie as he has been exposed (again) for what he is. The Chief is correct in this case.I don’t think DFS drops the ban hammer.

Despite your good intentions, you had to know who that would bring running to air their cartoonish Disney grievances and outrage… I could even faintly hear the approaching banjos over the sheep bleating. The original questions were about the Disney AD.

No offense but you are close to the last person that Jerry needs to continue being both highly successful and highly respected. You guys should be glad I am here. It’s otherwise a fairly inactive board that seems to be getting increasingly quiet. Hope not for the sake of Jerry and others.
I guess we’ll see how much “success” there really is in a near-dormant website. At least Jerry can count on the Whoopi Goldberg crowd to keep things rolling! Enjoy!!No offense but you are close to the last person that Jerry needs to continue being both highly successful and highly respected.

Some people have wonky self perception. But I am sure he is giddy that he was able to get another racially charged zinger in there. Again. As opposed to you?

Downtown Disney is okay for adults.
Was there last spring. Nice place to spend a few hours. Live bands and plenty of activities for the kids. Back in the day Pleasure Island was a fun night out. I just remember the cover charge being something stupid like $25+ to be allowed in to spend even more money. The mouse has it all figured out. It’s Disney Springs now. It gets a facelift every ten to twenty years. And they shut down Pleasure Island. Many good times there.
Well you can thank Sonny Bono for that. He introduced the bill that extended Mickey's life. Was there last spring. Nice place to spend a few hours. Live bands and plenty of activities for the kids.
