What for specifically--- there are so many forums. I wouldn't go there to post specifically regarding FSU sports (that is what this site is for-- I would avoid the college boards regardless).

How is the behavior there? I see some cursing and what not but nothing overly awful and people tend to stay on point.

I'm thinking its pretty good for technology, news, science, funny gifs., you know things I'm interested in.....

I browse the front page and then look at funny, jokes, cableporn (wiring pictures), subs for a couple tv shows, etc. You can get lost in there pretty quickly.

It all depends on how tightly controlled it is and how culturally developed. I go to the Unresolved Mysteries Reddit, and there's no shenanigans, it could be a knitting convention in terms of disposition. I use it for some techie things too, it can have the latest and greatest info.

Different reddits have totally different personalities and tones, just like message boards in general. Obviously many are wild and woolly, but if you go to the reddit dedicated to Sony, it's not like it's just a string of pictures of people with Sony remote controls in different orifices.

I only go over there when really bored, like sitting at the airport etc. There's some elite timekiller subreddits. Explain like im 5, justice porn, cringe, fat people stories, no sleep creepy.

Here is a list of the top ones. It doesnt really get interesting until the 40s or so, but then you can really go down the rabbit hole.

Wow at cableporn. Been in telecom for almost 20 yrs and havent seen that sub, awesome. You wouldnt believe some of the things Ive seen that actually work and stay up and running.

I have gone there when bored, get overwhelmed with the size, early 90s homepage layout and the layouts lack of friendliness to new users. Then I just leave.

Just for cutting the cord threads. Each streaming service has a reddit page. Very helpful.

yes, I am on the Reddit. The /r/fsusports sub needs some more users. y'all jump on it.

/r/cfb has a somewhat anti-fsu slant. When it was thought that we didn't actually qualify for a bowl, you should have seen the glee. The user who posted it was gilded over 15 times IIRC*. However I will say most of the time people are very courteous and take crap as well as they give it.

Some subs have really crappy moderators. /r/Politics got so one-sided it lost its "default" status. That means every new users isn't automatically subscribed.

I have had several posts automatically rejected for various "rule violations." For example, /r/bestof requires that you post something that isn't from a default. However, if you look at the top posts, the are ALMOST ALL FROM DEFAULT SUBS. If the bot that moderates /r/askreddit doesn't think your post is worded exactly as a question, it will be automatically denied. Just some examples.

*if you don't know, on reddit you can pay to "gild" someone's post which gives them special privileges. Not sure what they are as no one has done that to me.

There was one I saw recently that was solely for bots creating posts and replying to each other. Pretty fascinating.

Out of curiosity which side does the politics go? Left, correct or no?

I go there to read the US news. The comments on the stories are always fun.

I am on reddit a lot more than warchant these days. I follow the UCLA, Los Angeles, and various entertainment subreddits. I also like to scroll through TheDonald on occasion.

Anyone have a clue about the population on reddit? US vs global etc? Or is the population segmented by subtopic?

That has to be entertaining.

Reddit is incredible so much great content, really anything you need or are interested in there is a following on there. It takes up hours at my daily boring office job. Their CFB and NBA subreddits have a huge following and have great content. Mainstream sports outlets copy a lot of their stuff prior as Reddit is usually quicker to the game. /r/PersonalFinance & /r/Gifrecipes are personally favorites of mine.

Reddit is the source of record for ICO/cryptocurrency token evaluation and discussion; the members are committed to making it a mandatory stop for those performing due diligence.

Use to have good discussion but now it's mostly about meme's and someone requesting info on their portfolio. Don't really see much good discussion on there as it has grown in popularity.

I like reddit.

Read about financial things there, entertainment, and vr.
