I especially liked this quote re: Alford
"I told (Chris), 'Our fields don't look like other fields we play on, who we're playing against.' Now I know why because we haven't done it..." Alford told the Democrat.
"I went to him and said, 'What do you need to have our fields look like everyone else we play?' He told me and I said, 'OK, go.'"
I thought the field looked great for the spring game, honestly. But over the years the field has looked sub par compared to other schools for sure. Glad to see them doing this. Now if they can only power wash and tidy up some other easy things, Doak might look nice again.
Florida State replacing grass across all athletic fields over next few months
FSU has planted new grass at Doak, the football practice field and the FSU soccer complex with baseball and softball coming when their seasons end.
