Parts of Atlanta are third world. That’s common in the third world.
I haven’t thought about it in years, but our ole man had a strange ritual. He used to get up out of a dead sleep, walk outside, fire off a few rounds, and basically head straight back to bed. Never knew if he set his clock or if it was an internal timer. RIP, Pops.Damn neighbors think so. Don’t those bullets come down eventually?

"Personally, I see nothing wrong with it," he said. "It's tragic what happened but, you know, I think gunfire and New Year's bringing it in, it's cultural. It's part of our culture but the sad thing is bullets have no name."
I don't believe we had any gunfire around our house last night, but we sure had a lot of fireworks...even though it was raining & foggy around midnight.
Cultural? Really?
...even after he was also a victim of a gun shot. What?I thought the same thing when I read it. I was also a bit surprised to read that the guy doesn't see anything wrong with it.
If your neighbors are firing off rounds like that, call the cops on them. Those folks don't have any common sense.
