This am I ordered a sausage burrito, a hash brown and a small choc chip frap with one hot picante, one ketcup and because I'm health conscious, only one salt. With my order I got a medium picante, a mustard and a pepper. Wth?

It is a higher power telling you to stay away from those places. One of these days maybe I will listen.

Just for old times’ sake, I will share with you guys what I ate yesterday: breakfast was a large strawberry surfrider from Jamba Juice; lunch was a double bacon, cheese, and avocado burger with a side of waffle fries and an order of chicken tenders from Carl’s Jr.; and dinner was a Big Mac, a McChicken, a McDouble, and a 20 piece McNuggets. Beverages yesterday: 8 cups of coffee, 2 beers, 3 whiskies. I also hit the water fountain a couple of times.

It is interesting, with most every commodity you view the product then pay. Maybe flip the script don't drive off without an inspection?

Nice beverage list.

really?

And they have medium picante? I've only seen hot and mild. And why will they only give you one per burrito? That kills me.

I Wish chic fil A was closer.

Seriously? From what I recall, you're not a big guy. I weigh 190, train seven days a week, and that's easily double the amount of calories I consume in a day.

Do you have a tapeworm or something?

Meh, I am less and less impressed with Chic Fil A. Smaller portions, bun sucks,...

Seriously. It’s just how I have always eaten. I don’t exercise, and my weight has always stayed around 170 since I turned 20. The trade off is that I don’t think that I ate more than a handful of cashews and a pickle on Thursday.

Not sure why people bash McDonald's so much. The food isn't bad for fast food and if you go to a well-run location it's a decent experience overall.

BK burgers are pretty good but the locations are very hit or miss. To me Wendy's is the chain that's really gone downhill in the past few years.

I like Chik Fil A but they can be really slow and screw up your order. If there are 30 cars in the drive through and I park and walk in and order immediately it usually takes for over and is frequently wrong.

Pro-Tip though, go at 10:50 and they'll usually give you a free sample from the breakfast menu.

I like Mcdonalds too, if you have a good location its good and quick.

The opposite is true of the Chic Fil A in my hood. They consistently have a line of cars around the block, but can get you in and out in minutes. The most efficient of any fast food chain, by far.

Mcdonalds should offer a "grab bag" menu option where you just pay a flat price for a particular size bag, and you get whatever the kid tosses in. At least then youd have no expectations, and the odds of geting what you wanted would probably be as good or better than ordering a particular food choice.

How can Chick Fil A mess up an order? They have like 5 things on their menu...

“Two employees from a New Hampshire Burger King were arrested for allegedly selling pot to customers who said the code word "fries extra crispy" at the drive-thru window.”

Ouh contraire. They have an expanded menu of stuff that is, I guess OK as fast food.
They always have polite, efficient folks at work. Thing is, the food used to be better. It is now very commercial, packaged, and... commercial and packaged. The bird is pretty dry these days and you have to get some version of sauce to moisten up the sandwich. They offer a smart food salad on the side that is pitiful.
I guess that Chick Fil A is appealing to those who live away from their offerings....

Agreed. I really miss their chicken salad sammitch...that was always my go to.

You must have a bad Chick Fil A. All the ones around me are incredibly fast, by far the quickest drive thru.
The ones in the Midwest are awful. I waited 10-12 years for them to finally break in to this market and when they did it was an awful disappointment

I eat fast food probably twice a month and try to eat light during the week, so on the weekend if im hitting up taco bell or mcdonalds, its usually hungover and starving and im tearing it up like a stoned teenager. My order is usually something like this-
Big mac, quarter lber, 10 nuggets, large fries, large choc shake

Nachos bell grande, mexican pizza, burrito supreme, hard taco, soft taco, chalupa. Or just get the 12 pack and crush the whole gottdamn thing.

Memo to file: The Best and brightest people generally do not work for minimum wage. Getting a screwed up order is an inherent risk of visiting these places, unfortunately. Treat it like Christmas and be surprised with whatever you find in your bag. :)

It’s better if you don’t get too specific they can’t handle it messes up the assembly line.
Actually, I've heard the opposite. You should special order your sandwich (no cheese, extra pickles, etc.) to ensure you'll get a fresh custom-made sandwich as opposed to one that's been sitting under a heat lamp forever.

Not too far off from what they do now? :Face with Tears of Joy

I get a craving every now and then. Last time was this past week, for a double quarter pounder.

Proud to say I haven't been to a MCDonalds in like 3 years. They're food just got really bad in my opinion.
