Adding a new member to the pack this weekend, do you guys have any good websites that you buy products from? Im looking for crates, leashes, leads, etc.

Amazon. Buy your pup a Kong and put peanut butter inside with a treat. Keeps them busy and they won't bark or whine all day.

I've bought from there before with my others dogs, glad to see they are still go to. My wife wants a kennel that looks like furniture, you guys have those.

a lot depends on the dog. I had two boxers (sadly one has passed), one of which only played with plush stuffed animal type toys (loved to take the stuffing out), while the other destroyed every toy ever given to her. Still, her favorite toy ever was a piece of PVC pipe.

Look around, because Amazon isn't always cheapest. Petco/Petsmart has regular coupons/deals (plus regular sales, and card-only deals, and I know Petco will match their online prices in store), Dog.com and Wag.com have regular coupon deals. Plus Petco has a new-dog coupon book that has really good coupons for all that first time stuff.

Appreciate the advice. I am going to take a look tonight after work in the local Petsmart, have to find that wooden kennel!

As for the dog, it will be my second German Shepherd.

We use a Kong crate that folds down when you need it to. Both our dogs have loved it. It comes in sizes for all dogs.

Go to Craig's list and scout out Garage Sales in your area. Hit em up and buy your stuff on the cheap.

I have bought stuff and resold on Ebay. Crates, leashes, beanie babies for toys, etc.
