Wasn’t close. Louisville played with an incredibly simple gameplan on defense in the 2nd half. While it appeared we had momentum at times, we never truly did.
They were able to rush 3/4 guys and put their DBs and Linebackers on the sticks and they knew there was nothing we could do about it.
Sure, they gave up a few gashes by Corbin but that’s an easy trade off that they will take.
Sad that they used a basic concept and we could NOT break their formula. We are so, so predictable on offense that it is sickening.
