Failure to appear has got to be the most popular charge for athletes around FSU. How hard is it to show up for court? There needs to be a bulletin board in the locker room where everyone puts their court notices and a staff simpleton helps them make sure they show up.
FACT: Jimbo is telling parents I will treat your kid like mine in Tallahassee. Would you let your kid forget a frickin court date? H^!! no an you would drive him and be there along side them.
WHAT COULD WE DO Unless it is an NCAA violation it seems like some football operations secretary would have that on a team calendar. A simple reminder the week before the day before and a few hours before would be nice. Just a simple text "Hey Dvante this is Sue are you attending your court hearing in two hours at 2 PM? " If he does not answer then sent a team mate or coach. Same with a ticket. Ticket is due next week then the next day and then call them and confirm the ticket has been paid.

Does FSU police and Tallahassee Police not have a better relation that they could call the someone a day or two ahead and state if they guy does not come in today we will find him. Do you think they would go arrest a senator or city commissioner or their kids without a call? Someone has got to do a better job behind the scenes
