Guess he isn’t smart anymore since he disagrees with them lol. Forget the whole Rhodes Scholar Neurosurgeon thingy when we have message board warriors who know better.

What did he say specifically?
Pretty long interview, but he is talking about from players points of view this is not safe etc says the season should be delayed or cancelled that many players on not on board etc.

I am sure you will be able to find the video on their website in a bit

I feel like the NFL needs to take this month by month. Come out now and delay the season til mid October with camp starting the week after Labor Day. Who knows where everything is by then. Worst case scenario if the vaccine studies don’t come back with good results you play a 10 game season starting in mid November with no fans. But I’m sure they want fans if at all possible.

The NFL doesn't have a responsibility to anyone but their personnel...and the owners don't always do a great job with that.
If they want to shell out big dollars to buy tests, it's their money.
If you as a family want to buy kits that are coming out for your family's personal use, should that be seen as not responsible?

I am not sure what your question has to do with Myron's response. I also posited no opinion on his comments other than it could bode poorly for seeing football this fall because there are many in the NFL and the NFL PA that listen to him. I simply put the video there for information as the poster inquired about it.

I see where you are coming from after rewatching. I really have no opinion on them sucking up tests. As you said if the owners wanna pay then what's the issue. I have none with that I am sure there are many available worldwide they could get their hands on with no effect on the governments' ability to test the masses. I take more away from other comments he made TBH.

Yes and no from what I have seen from other sports. I read somewhere their break even point for fans in stands is over 50% occupancy at most stadiums. I imagine if they can not get that then they may prefer to just do like Europe is with soccer and like the MLB and NBA are no fan in stands and get TV revenue.

It seems there may be a lot of hidden costs to have fans in the stands in the environment or any I guess. Operating stadiums of this size is likely pretty darn costly. I think it said the average operating cost for an NFL stadium is over 20 million per season or like 2.5 million per game. If they can only house 35k per game. It will be tough to turn a profit so why have fans in stands. Also at this point in time how many cities are going to be cool with even putting 35k people in a building especially domes.
