What has been happening at Florida State over the last several years has been nothing short of breathtaking. I remember looking up to Penn State as being way ahead of Florida State academically when President Barron bolted to be Penn State's President.
1n 2014, Penn State was ranked 46th and FSU was ranked 91st. Cudos to Barron for getting FSU even as high as 91st - that was our highest ranking ever.
Fast forward just a few years to 2019.
Penn State is 57th. And FSU is...57th.
Let that sink in.
And then tip your hat to John Thrasher. Maybe in another year or two, Barron will want to bolt to the more academically prestigious Florida State University.
