ESPN just had a segment on Marcus Mariotta's coming out party. Graded him an A plus. They said that the way he bounced back after adversity showed what a great QB he will be. Actually posed trading Mettenberger to jets this week due to how great MM looked.

No they did not miss his first two touchdown drives for the other team. No they did not say that his best performance came as scrubs were mixed in on D. They said that his early performance was the result of jitters.

Let's see what they say about Jameis tonight.

I laughed when I heard that. Unfortunately for Mariota, it was Merril Hoge throwing out that awesome A+ logic.

Mariota still can't throw from under center. I keep seeing people praise his 7-8 finish. Too bad every non screen attempt was out of the shotgun. His inability to throw from under center is going to crush whatever level of running game the Titans might of had. Every time he's not in the shotgun, stack the box big time.

I can imagine the bashing of Jameis tonight will be epic. All the off the field stuff will be what drives their conversation. I have to get up at 4:30am here to watch it, but damn sure I'm getting up. Then going back to bed as soon as he's pulled.

The TItans running game was terrible last year, and the starter was terrible last night. How that is on Mariota is beyond me.
