Love Tiger and was happy to see him win the Masters but he’s +2 for the day and T50 and they have him on the front page with caption about “can he overcome sluggish start?”My goodness if they want to be taken seriously, focus on guys inside the top 10 since it’s a MAJOR. ESPN’s golf coverage has a “low information voter” feel to it.

Agree! Tiger was +2 and they were following every shot I couldn't understand why, he's not even in contention.

The problem is Tiger moves the needle no matter what position he is in. There are many casual golf fans that just won't watch unless Tiger is playing. The media knows that and unfortunately we get the coverage we get.

Have to say even when Tiger doesn't play well he's very gracious in his post round interviews... can't say I would be that way after struggling all day on the course. I admire that about him.

He has not always been that way. Did you not admire him before?

Hmm, please describe how he was before?
Tiger used to be quite dismissive of fans and very uncaring about cursing loudly in front of TV cameras. He rarely was chummy with other golfers in his groupings.

Tiger 2.0, on the other hand...and to his credit, has become a lot more personable and outwardly relaxed. He's still capable of playing dominant golf at times, so softening his former abrasiveness certainly has not compromised his competitive edge.

I see, thanks for enlightening me. Maybe some of his troubles have humbled him for the better then.
