I know some of you have really been desperate for a job in the past. There have to be some stories out there. Let's hear 'em.
Ever blow an interviewer?

I was a manager at one place and doing interviews for new employees. During one interview a decent looking girl about 21 says to me "I'm desperate, I will do ANYTHING to get this job". True story.
This is the LR. Even in the remote circumstance that one of us would need a job, it should be expected that the interviewer would want to blow us.
Sadly, no ... she didn't know how to use her mouth properly.
It was for a waitress position and she started talking about another job she had and started talking about "those N-words from FAMU ... you know how they are" and went on with a bunch of other off the wall stuff. Somehow, I couldn't see hiring her for a customer service job.
I ended up hiring some good ones. Ones that looked good in the catwoman leather suit or the naughty referee outfits I had them try on and bonus that they weren't racist wackos.
When I was right out of school, a really hot African-American applicant wandered into the office licking a tall melting vanilla ice cream cone and asked how someone goes about getting a job there. True story. Unfortunately, no jobs of any kind were given.
