They’re just going to go back to work. It’s not just Norvell. Literally every losing coach says this. So, my question is:
SPECIFICALLY, what does a coach mean when they say that? Do they only mean that they are going to go back to business as usual? Running practices, breaking down film, etc.? Because that’s not what it sounds like, but I think that’s all it is. And if so, that’s stupid.
The work that Mike Norvell SHOULD be doing is working on some self reflection and figuring out WHY the things that he has been doing aren’t working. Not just doing the same things again and hoping that this time - THIS TIME - his messages will stick. His game plan will work. His practices will be effective.
