External flash recs for an iphone?

iphones are great in bright light but bad when needs the built in flash...also if taking a photo of someone with bright background (sunset behind the subject) the person is not lit up enough.

I found this product below but not making it any longer? Does anyone have any recs on products to use? Thx.

I’ve never noticed a major problem, all you need to do is focus the iPhone on the object in the forefront by touching it on the screen. And then maybe use a quick photoshopping app like Snapseed. For example, I took fifteen secs to partially fix the photo you presented. If it was the whole original iPhone image then I would have been able to completely pull out the people instead of in blocks as the data was lost when it was converted to post on a webpage.

If you have a newer iphone, try an app like VSCO which allows you to take photos as RAW images, and also view/edit RAW images. As Tribe noted above, you'll have greater flexibility to edit those files versus a JPEG.
