One thing I never want FSU to do regarding a head coach...is fire them without a KNOWN plan for replacement.
When you look at other programs...like NCSt, UNC in the past...UF, Tenn, even LSU recently venturing into that territory without having good idea of who would take over seems to be a bit risky and rocky at best. Though it may work out in some cases, I'd say it's not the best approach. UGA was targeting Smart all along. FSU had Jimbo in place when he took over.
Not saying Jimbo is even on the hotseat now. But if it comes to that, I hope we never get so overcome with emotions that a decision is made without a real plan in place moving forward.
