Practice Updates:

Mickey Andrews is out here for his first day in his new role.

David Kelly getting his unit fired up. Said nobody is talking about the FSU wide receivers. "You guys don't exist." A couple players respnded by saying that will change Sept. 3.

NFL scouts from the Bears, Rams and Ravens are here.

FSU apparently had an early practice today for the younger players and some veterans who have never played much. This is actually the second practice.

Possible position changes — Looks like Arthur Williams is working on the OL and Zaquandre White is working at LB

First team OL: J. Williams (LT), D. Kelly, Eberle, Minshew, L. Dickerson (RT).
------

Just got all three QBs and Cam Akers and Jacques Patrick.

Bailey was very confident and said he thinks he can lead FSU to a national title. He said he really started feeling comfortable at the end of the spring since he was limited last fall.

Francois said his knee is 100 percent. Said he’s trying to be the best leader and teammate he can be.

Blackman said he weighed 178 today. He also was very confident.

All three QBs said they have put on weight during the offseason.

As for the RBs, Akers said they went out every other day with the QBs during the summer. Also said he’s more comfortable as a RB now that he’s played that position for a year.

Patrick said he has worked hard to reshape his body. He’s dropped some weight and is very excited to be in this offense.

Nyqwan Murray ran out to practice without a knee brace. He definitely doesn’t seem to be too banged up.

First interview is with .... Ricky Aguayo.

Bailey Hockman (he's stoic)

Deondre Francois

James Blackman (he's confident)

Jacques Patrick

Said he’s dropped some weight in the offseason and credited Coach O and the strength program, plus eating better. He did look trimmer.

Said he feels good from 55 yards and in. Also talked about how nice it is to have a full-time special teams coach in Alonzo Hampton. The kickers no longer feel isolated from the team.

Aslan will have video shortly as we get other players.
