Apparently they had a conference by conference discussion yesterday and they followed it up with some comments today after a few calls. Almost seems like they read this message board. Pure and simple, they clearly state that the ACC has the talent to get into the championship each year - but the school administrations are not committed enough to (change) and get the best head and assistant coaches. They note that FSU and Clemson are clearly national powers, but if they lose in an upset in a conference game, the winner of that game never follows through and keeps winning. How true. They say if GT beats CU this Saturday it will be disaster for the conference because GT can't do anything with the win - other than hurt the image of the conference. They also point out missed opportunities with Pitt losing to Iowa,UNC losing to USCe and UL losing to Houston - but they save their harshest criticism for Miami and its awful loss to Cincinnati.
