The Florida State outdoor track and field teams continued to add to the list of postseason qualifiers on Friday at Florida Relays and Raleigh Relays.

On the women’s side, the Noles qualified for the NCAA Regional Championship in the 4x100 relay, turning in the 10th-fastest time in school history (43.46), behind Dajaz DeFrand, Liana Tyson, Kinya Johnson and Shenese Walker.

Their time is currently ranked third in the nation after placing second in prelims at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Florida.

“The women’s 4x100 relay were in late-season form for their first time together as a relay,” said track and field head coach Bob Braman. “Easily a regional qualifying time and a nationally ranked time for coach Kane’s crew.”

Tori Caroll finished 13th in the long jump with a mark of 5.85m.

Bieke Schipperen competed in the 1,500-meter, placing 12th with a time of 4:36.88. Lily Moore followed Shipperen in 21st with a career best.

Ava Povich placed fourth in the 5,000, with a time of 16:57.24. Rebecca Bergnes followed Povich with a lifetime best (17:06.13).

Martin Prodanov qualified for the postseason, placing sixth with the eight-fastest time in school history (3:42.89) in the 1,500.

“It was great to have Martin back,” added Braman. “That time will be right at regional qualifying, but he’s going to run much faster as the season progresses, and we clean up his tactics a bit.”

Jordan Turner earned a spot in postseason action in the men’s long jump invite, placing third with a mark of (7.80m). Curtis Williams followed Turner with an ACC standard of 7.42m. Jaiden Rollins rounded out the event in sixth at 7.05m.

“Really good outdoor opener for Jordan,” said Braman. “He competed well and easily got his NCAA Region qualifying mark.”

Cooper Crowell placed 16th in the hammer throw with a mark of 51.31m.

Lucas Bouquot competed in the 5,000m, placing sixth with a lifetime best of 14:22.18. Wynne Thomas followed Bouquot in seventh with a personal best of 14:28.96.

Agnes McTighe led the Noles at the Raleigh Relays placing 10th in the 5,000, clocking a lifetime best and eighth-fastest time in school history at 15:51.91. Her performance qualifies her for the ACC and NCAA Regional Championships.

Anna Senter competed in the 10,000, clocking a time of 35:05.16.

The Noles will conclude action on Saturday at the Florida Relays, starting with the men’s discus throw at 9 a.m.
