Monday morning saw another Florida State football player announcing his entry into the transfer portal. Redshirt junior defensive lineman Aaron Hester announced on X he's entering the portal.
Hester appeared in eight games last season as a reserve defensive lineman, recording 10 tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass deflection. He appeared in 12 games over three seasons at FSU but didn't seem poised to contend for a starting spot coming out of spring and entering the 2025 season.
He's the sixth Seminole to announce his portal entry, but the first on the defensive side of the ball after the first five were all offensive players.
