The ACC released the 2023 All-ACC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Academic team on Tuesday and 15 Florida State student-athletes were named to the team which requires a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Championships during the most recent season.
FSU’s top performers from the Academic Team include senior Faith Banks, who broke the facility record in the women’s 400-meter with the third-best time (52.88) in FSU history in the prelims, and Amani Heaven, who was runner-up in the shot put (16.54 meters).
Also posting a top-five finish at the ACC Championship and making the Academic Team was Alexandra Websters who was third in the 60-meter hurdle with a time of 8.26.
