FSU sports information:
Florida State has partnered with industry-leading equipment provider STX, LLC as the Seminoles’ preferred equipment supplier, it was announced Friday.
“I am incredibly excited for this partnership with STX,” Florida State head coach Sara Tisdale said. “STX is a leader in the lacrosse space, and having this opportunity as we begin our program is another example of the power of the Florida State brand. Equipping our team with STX equipment and Nike apparel will benefit our student-athletes on the field, and with the construction of our lacrosse-only stadium we are continuing to establish FSU as a premier destination for student-athletes looking for a top-tier academic and athletic experience.”
The partnership includes custom-branded equipment for Florida State lacrosse, including handles and goggle straps as well as goalie gloves and helmets. STX is the world's leading manufacturer of men's and women's lacrosse equipment globally and began in 1970 with the introduction of the first synthetic head. The Baltimore-based company has been universally recognized for innovation in product design and development, and strives to set new performance standards in sports equipment to empower athletes to achieve at the highest levels of competition.
Florida State has announced 19 signees for the program’s inaugural season. Five Division I transfers enrolled at FSU for the spring 2025 semester and will be joined by 14 high school signees as the 2025-26 academic year begins. The Seminoles will begin their first season of NCAA competition in February of 2026.
