Soccer FSU sends group to U.S. Women’s National Team 2025 Futures Camp

The Florida State soccer team will send Jordynn Dudley, Heather Gilchrist, Taylor Huff, and Yuna McCormack to the U.S. Women’s National Team 2025 Futures Camp which will feature up-and-coming USWNT prospects. FSU will represent four of the 12 players who played college soccer last season, more than any other collegiate team.

The training camp will take place from January 14-21 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif. and is being held concurrently with the USWNT training camp running at the same time. Head Coach Emma Hayes and her U.S. National Team coaching staff, along with all of the United States' Youth National Team head coaches, will come together to run the training sessions at the Futures Camp. All players are currently age-eligible for the Under-23 Women’s National Team.

Florida State features three players who represented the United States in its bronze medal run at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Dudley, Gilchrist, and McCormack. McCormack scored two goals in the group stage over Morocco and Paraguay while Dudley scored the extra-time winner over Mexico in the round of 16 before scoring a 98th-minute goal to set up the thrilling comeback victory over Germany in the quarterfinals.

Huff completed her final season and led the squad with 12 goals and 10 assists for 34 total points as a midfielder, winning with several accolades from the All-ACC First Team, ACC All-Tournament Team, United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American, and All-Atlantic Region First Team along with being named the ACC Tournament MVP. Huff was also named a 2024 Hermann Trophy semifinalist and 2025 Honda Sport Award finalist for soccer.

Dudley secured a second consecutive 25-point season in her sophomore year. The reigning national freshman of the year registered 29 points off nine goals and 11 assists in 15 games played. She was also named to the All-ACC First Team, ACC All-Tournament Team, United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-American, and a two-time Hermann Trophy semifinalist.

Gilchrist solidified the core of the Seminole defense and helped claim a fourth consecutive double-digit shutout season for the team. She made 15 appearances for the garnet and gold and was named to the All-ACC Third Team, ACC All-Tournament Team, and United Soccer Coaches Fourth Team All-American.

McCormack played and started in 28 total games for the Cavaliers. She recorded five assists in her freshman season and scored against Princeton in the NCAA Tournament First Round her sophomore season. McCormack was named to the 2023 ACC All-Freshman Team while also earning ACC All-Academic Team and ACC Honor Roll honors.
