The No. 21/25 Florida State swimming and diving team hosts its annual senior day meet against Tampa on Friday at 2 p.m. ET, at the Morcom Aquatics Center.
Prior to the meet, at 1:30 p.m., FSU will recognize its 24 seniors who are set to conclude their careers in the Garnet and Gold this season.
Admission will be free for all fans on Friday afternoon. The in-state competition is the penultimate home meet for the Seminoles during the 2024-25 campaign, and the last for the men’s swimmers.

“We are excited to welcome a very good Tampa team to Florida State,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “The men are the defending D-II national champions, which will give us a good test especially after they beat Florida earlier this year. Senior day will be another focus for us to honor our seniors, and no one does senior day better than us! We are looking forward to it, Go Noles!”
The Seminoles are ranked No. 21 and No. 25 in the January CSCAA Coaches Poll. Announced in mid-January, the men moved up one spot to 21st, while the women remain in the top-25 for a second consecutive month. Nine ACC men’s teams and eight women’s squads are currently ranked nationally.
Tampa comes to Tallahassee at No. 2 in the men’s D-II CSCAA Coaches Poll and No. 4 in the women’s rankings. The Spartans are unbeaten in 2025, with wins over No. 7 Wingate, Keiser, Lynn and Barry to begin the new year. In November, UT competed at South Carolina’s Gamecock Invite, where the men were second out of six teams, ahead of USC, and the women were third of 10 squads, including UNC Wilmington, East Carolina and Vanderbilt.
FSU began 2025 with a pair of victories over Villanova on January 8. The men swept the top four places in nine of the 16 events and added five more 1-2-3 finishes. The women claimed the top three spots in five events and finished first, second, third and fourth twice. While winning every event, Florida State placed at least first and second in 26 of the 32 events.
Up next, Florida State hosts in-state rival Miami on Monday, January 27, at 2 p.m. at the Morcom Aquatics Center. FSU’s women’s team and men’s divers will take to the pool against the Hurricanes.
