FSU sports information:

There was little drama on Sunday afternoon as the No. 19 Florida State volleyball team (14-4, 6-2) cruised to a sweep (25-15, 25-22, 25-14) over Syracuse (12-8, 0-8) on Sunday afternoon at the Women's Building in Syracuse, N.Y.

The Noles controlled the first set from start to finish as they never surrendered the lead as they ran away with the set by a score of 25-15. The Noles hit .379 while holding Syracuse to a .071 hitting percentage.

The second set was much closer as they team traded runs in the early part of the set, but FSU ultimately led 15-11 at the halfway point. The Orange slowly chipped away at the Seminoles' lead and eventually took a 21-20 lead. Khori Louis responded with a kill and a block to give the Noles the lead, and FSU used a 3-0 run to take a 2-0 lead in the match.

The Orange looked to have some momentum in the third set as they jumped out to a 4-1 lead, but FSU used an 8-1 run to take the momentum back. The Noles never let the Orange come within three points as they rolled to a 25-14 match-clinching victory.

Louis returned to her efficient ways as she had a game-high 14 kills on 23 attempts while also adding four blocks. Audrey Koenig reached double digit kills for the 15th consecutive match while also leading the team with 11 digs.

The Noles will continue play next Friday night at North Carolina at 7 p.m. on ACCNX.
