Florida State Volleyball prepares for another meeting with rival Miami on Wednesday night, facing the Hurricanes (10-4, 3-1) at 7 p.m. at the Knight Sports Complex in Miami on the ACC Network.

The Seminoles (10-6, 4-0) are looking to start 5-0 in ACC play for the first time since 2015 as they prepare for their rivalry match. FSU defeated the Hurricanes on the road last season, 3-0.

Koenig’s award-winning weekend as the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week included averaging 4.13 kills per set, 4.38 points per set and 2.50 digs per set vs. UNC and Duke. The Seminoles defeated the Tar Heels, 3-0, last Friday and topped the Blue Devils, 3-2, on Sunday.

FSU is 37-24-1 all-time against Miami. The two teams have split their last 10 matches at 5-5.

In FSU’s critical fifth set last match vs. Duke, junior middle blocker Kiari Robey delivered with four kills in that set. She ranks 27th nationally with a .415 hitting percentage and was named the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 25.

Coach Chris Poole will coach in his 30th match against the Hurricanes since coming to FSU in 2008. He is 18-11 all time against Miami while with the Noles.

In ACC play, FSU has totaled just 12 service errors in four matches, while opponents have recorded 27. The Seminoles own Top 5 national marks in hitting percentage (2nd; .319) and kills per set (5th; 14.27).

The combination of setters Jelli Draskovic and Kenna Phelan have FSU ranked 21st in the nation with 12.80 assists per set.

Following Wednesday’s match, FSU returns home to face NC State on Sunday at 1 p.m. in what is a Mental Health Awareness Match.
