Florida State senior outfielder Jahni Kerr will get her first-ever international experience this weekend as she was named to the Great Britain National Team for the Women's Softball European Championship from Sept. 1-7 in Ultrecht, Netherlands. Great Britain is in Pool Y with Greece, Israel and Italy and will open up on Sunday against Italy.
Kerr has emerged as one of FSU's top hitters the last two seasons. After her breakout season in 2023 which saw her lead the team in hitting as well as earning First Team All-ACC honors, Kerr kept the momentum going in 2024 as she drove in 39 home runs to go with nine home runs. Kerr earned Third Team All-ACC honors as she made 52 starts. Kerr made just one error in 56 attempts as she was a staple in the Noles' outfield.
