This is my first time seeing a few guys in G&G and a couple things struck me.
- Z White looks like an absolute GAM. He was a guy I was thinking might get left behind all the talent we brought in but he looks like a thoroughbred. Had like a young Eddie George look to him.
- Laborn looks beastly to me too. I really hope he gets some opportunities this year. All the RBs really to me look like they could be starting backs at almost any other power 5 school. This is all by seeing one day with no pads but man do they look the part.
- I have a feeling DJ Matthews could make some noise this year. He seems like he could be a fit as a return man too.
- Being from my neck of the woods I was a little skeptical of Alex Marshall with the caliber of football up here. He looks like he's gonna need a year in the weight room before he can start carving out a niche here.
- Carlos Becker is kind of a forgotten man in that secondary with all the talent we have back there but I gotta feeling he's gonna be huge for us this year.
- The DT rotation and the depth there and really the entire DL on paper is just silly. You have Nnadi, Christmas, Aime, Wilson and even Darvin Taylor and Cedric Wood to rotate through.
I hope I'm right on some of this stuff but it looks like we are starting to build depth all over. (Sorry for this long post)
