Just kidding. Kinda.
Football games aren't decided based on who can run and jump the highest and who had the most college scholarship offers. It's slightly more complicated than that.
We are going to lose at least one game this year, probably two, possibly three. We haven't lost a regular-season game in over two years, that just doesn't happen. Those of you who are predicting an undefeated season were just being extremely unrealistic and unreasonable. Because of that unreasonable expectation, you then flock to this board in meltdown if we don't when every game by 100.
We are starting two freshmen on the offensive line, a freshman tight end, some inexperienced receivers, and a quarterback who has been on campus for two months. You tend to not go undefeated for a third straight season when that's the case.
We are not a top-five team, but I don't see 10 teams better than us
Cook might be the best running back in the nation.
Our defense is improved and will continue to get better.
You better beat us this year because we are going to be very tough to beat in the next few years.
Our punting is atrocious.
The OL needs to continue to improve. Looks like center may be an issue again this year.
Back to your regularly scheduled meltdown and unrealistic expectations where we're supposed to win every game by 40 and nobody ever blows a defensive assignment because we're more "talented" that everyone else.
