So yesterday a lady named Carla Wiley pled guilty in Jacksonville federal court to various fraud charges, essentially for running a bogus charity. The "charity" took in hundreds of thousands of dollars for supposed educational purposes, but paid out only $1,000 in the form of "scholarships." Anyway, part of Wiley's plea deal was to testify against others who are targeted in the probe. Turns out that Corrine Brown is almost certainly a target, as she received significant $$ from the scam to run her own "events."

Stay tuned....this could be another proud moment for the gata. "1-2-3-4-5, 'da U.S. Attorney don't take no jive."

Certainly not the first time she has been embroiled in legal or ethical nastiness. I recall some years ago her daughter receiving a Lexus from some "constituent" that seemed, um, er, well, seemed "irregular."
