Agreed. If you are going to stay in the beer business, then make sure your beer tastes good.
I don't mean this in a mean spirited way, but I don't think I've seen any one post/mention missing the beer at Grasslands. All the comments I've read are about how great of a guy Gabe is and they're going to miss watching soccer or hanging out at the brewery. I hope the crew there find a good opportunity at another local spot. With the Proof expansion and both Ology and Deep putting out acclaimed beers it has to be hard to keep up or find a niche. Doubt the rent was cheap over there either....I'm more of a Deep guy myself, but I did go yesterday for the final day. The owner of Grasslands is a really nice guy and I hate they couldn't make it work.
